Highest Altitudes

Undeniably, the most important part of an excellent skydive experience is altitude. It dictates your freefall time and how much time you get to spend in the air. Thanks to our well-maintained aircraft, Skydive Orange can offer some of the highest altitudes in the state!

When you take a HALO tandem jump you jump from 18,000’ (3 miles) above ground level. With this type of dive, you can experience up to 80 seconds in freefall! EXPERIENCE REQUIRED? and all equipment, including the required supplemental oxygen, and training is included.

With a tandem jump at 14,000’ (2 miles) above the ground, you can experience 60 seconds of freefall. You don’t have to have any previous experience to take a tandem skydive and all equipment and training are included.

Leading Aircraft

There’s no doubt you want to get the most out of your skydiving experience and Skydive Orange is where you can do that! We have one of the most powerful aircraft in the state, a Twin Otter. This aircraft is one of the fastest flying jump planes in the business, which means we can take you higher than anyone else, faster than anyone else. Plus, up to 8 people can ride up in the aircraft, meaning that large groups wanting to experience skydiving together are welcome here!

Top Notch Dropzone

At Skydive Orange, we know that the time you spend on the ground training is vital to making sure that you are comfortable with your instructor and ready to take the jump. This is why we have recently invested in constructing a new hangar that provides our guests with plenty of space.

We are the largest skydiving dropzone in Northern Virginia, operating with highly experienced instructors, state of the art equipment, well-maintained aircraft, and the new hangar offers clean, comfortable amenities for you and spectators to enjoy.

Plus, you have plenty of opportunities to jump with us, no matter what your schedule looks like! Weather permitting, we are open Saturdays and Sundays year-round. During the summer we expand those hours to include Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
