Modern Facilities for a Comfortable Experience

We pride ourselves in providing our jumpers and spectators with clean, modern facilities for a stellar experience. For spectators and visitors, we have shaded indoor seating as well as outdoor seating for you to enjoy watching your loved ones land in our well-maintained landing area. We also have well-stocked vending machines on-site to curb your cravings while waiting for your turn to jump.

For licensed jumpers, we have a spacious hangar with a huge packing mat, a concrete pad with creepers, covered loading area with full size mockup, full-service gear store equipped with rentals and gear to purchase, camping area, and indoor/outdoor showers available for use. Stay awhile!

For Accelerated Freefall (AFF) students, organizers, or any instructors participating in an instructional ratings course or team training, we provide several large, air conditioned classrooms inside the main hangar. This gives you a comfortable and more private space to create an optimal learning environment for all.

The Best Skydiving Aircraft in the Region

Skydive Orange operates a Twin Otter, which is widely regarded as the best skydiving plane in the industry. Our 22-seat Twin Otter gives you a comfortable, spacious, smooth, and quick ride up to altitude. This means more room for extra skydiving friends and more time for jumps.

During our special skydiving events, or “boogies”, Skydive Orange can bring in additional aircraft. This could include a CASA, Caribou, and even a helicopter!

• Tandem Skydiving

The best way to experience the thrill of freefall for the first time without the added pressure of operating your own parachute. On a tandem skydive, you’ll be securely attached to one of our highly experienced and certified tandem instructors. At Skydive Orange, we take our guests up to 13,500 feet, offering a full 60 seconds of freefall – longer than any other dropzone in the Maryland area.

• Accelerated Freefall (AFF)

Our step-by-step program allows aspiring solo jumpers to earn their skydiving license right here at our facility. The program includes 25 jumps and teaches you everything you need to know to skydive totally on your own! Earning a skydiving license essentially grants you a golden ticket to skydive at pretty much any dropzone in the world and with other skydivers!

• Skydiving Skills Camps and Events

We host all kinds of skydiver-friendly events depending on your needs: boogies, coaching, record-setting events, and skills camps. These events help skydivers progress and connect with our amazing community!
