How Many People Can Skydive Together?

When it comes to group skydiving, the sky really is the limit! While each plane has a specific capacity, most skydiving centers can accommodate groups of all sizes by carefully coordinating multiple flights and airplane loads.

At Skydive Orange, we pride ourselves on creating seamless experiences for groups large and small. Whether you’re planning an outing for five people or 55, we’ll work with you to ensure everyone has their moment in the sky. 

With our fast-flying Twin Otter, we can accommodate up to 22 jumpers (tandem instructors included) at a time – making a great jump plane for groups. Each of you will jump one at a time with your instructor. Tandem students will not jump at the same time for safety reasons only. While you may not be next to your colleague in the sky, you may be able to spot them under canopy – give ‘em a whoop! So, it’s up to your team to decide who goes first, will you willingly volunteer?

The key to a great group skydiving experience is teamwork and timing. Larger groups often take turns – one airplane load at a time – giving team members a chance to cheer each other on from the ground as they watch their coworkers soar.
