How Many People Can Skydive Together?

When it comes to group skydiving, the sky really is the limit! While each plane has a specific capacity, most skydiving centers can accommodate groups of all sizes by carefully coordinating multiple flights and airplane loads.

At Skydive Orange, we pride ourselves on creating seamless experiences for groups large and small. Whether you’re planning an outing for five people or 55, we’ll work with you to make sure everyone has their time in the sky. 

With our fast flying Twin Otter, we can accommodate up to 22 jumpers (tandem instructors included) at a time. Each of you will jump one at a time with an instructor; tandem students can’t exit the plane together for safety reasons. And while you won’t be right next to each other in the sky, you may see one another when the parachute opens – give each other a whoop, whoop! (This means, it’s up to your team to decide who goes first … will you willingly volunteer?!)

The key to a great group parachute jump is teamwork and timing. Larger groups often take turns – one airplane load at a time – giving team members the chance to cheer each other on from the ground as they watch their coworkers soar.

Safety First

Safety is our top priority. Our highly-trained tandem instructors are certified by the United States Parachute Association (USPA), have many hundreds (if not thousands) of jumps, and years of experience in the sport. They’re here to guide and take care of your group every step of the way.

On-the-Ground Fun

If some teammates want to be a part of the fun but aren’t quite ready to jump, we provide a comfortable, spectator-friendly space for them to watch the action. They’ll have access to our spacious 100’ x 60’ hangar to chill out in, well-stocked vending machines to keep the munchies at bay, and clean bathrooms.
