At Skydive Orange, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and safe environment for all licensed skydivers, Tandem and AFF Students, and guests. Community is at the core of everything we do.
We want everyone to know that we are not taking the Coronavirus lightly. We are staying apprised and receiving constant updates from the state and local governments, as well as the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and WHO (World Health Organization).
In accordance with recommendations from the CDC, we are taking proactive and additional measures to ensure the cleanliness of our hangar and high traffic areas. We are scheduling additional services to clean our hangar, classrooms, and offices. We have developed and will be following enhanced protocols to sanitize all personal equipment used by students and daily cleaning and sanitization of the aircraft.
We also have recommended that employees take precautionary health measures, including frequent hand washing, social distancing, and staying home when sick.
We are also encouraging students and guests to reschedule if they are feeling unwell or exhibiting any symptoms—we are happy to reschedule to accommodate and have relaxed our refund policies.
At this point, we will continue to remain open, with normal operational hours and tandem reservations as scheduled. We will update everyone if conditions warrant that we take additional or alternate measures.
As always, we will continue supporting our community and extended family at Skydive Orange. Take care of yourselves and be kind to one another.
The largest tandem skydiving center near Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland.
