“I jumped with two soccer coaches that were here from Brazil running clinics for us. Our park is right next to the airport and the coaches excitedly watched jumpers land all week, I arranged for them to do tandem jumps the last day they were here. I wasn’t planning on jumping but got talked into it by an old friend, Kevin, who was my instructor and jump partner. I was impressed by everyone’s detailed attention to safety. I think it all happened to quickly for me to think about it and be nervous but the adrenaline rush was amazing. I am a local boy and to see Orange County from 13,000 was quite a view. The Skydive Orange folks made our Brazilian visitors’ experience very memorable. They had barely hit the ground before praises were being tweeted and Facebooked literally around the world. I have a really bad knee and Kevin landed me in a seated position on the ground unbelievably soft. I definitely recommend this experience to both visitors and locals.”
