The reserve parachute of a sport parachute system must be inspected and repacked every 120 days by an FAA certificated parachute Rigger even if it has not been used during that time. That's 120 days, not just 4 months. If you jump it after those 120 days without getting it repacked again, you are breaking the law, and both the person jumping it and the Pilot of the aircraft could be fined. FAA rules are actually law. So--- do you really want to whip out a pocket calendar and start counting little boxes one at a time? Why not just use our easy date finder!
