I started skydiving in Buckeye,
Arizona
. It’s a tiny dropzone in the middle of the desert that
will eerily remind you of the dropzone in, “Fandango!” I
was so excited / nervous / scared / praying to every godly figure I could think
of / excited again for that first plunge out of an airplane. My
first minute of freefall is something that I’ll never forget, and it’s that
same minute that has me addicted for the rest of my life. There’s
no way to describe taking your first step out of an airplane in flight.
You have to experience the thrill for yourself! I
remember being so impressed with my instructors and videographers. They
were so welcoming, and eager to teach me the amazing sport of skydiving.
Since then I have strived to become an equally excited skydiver and
coach. Lately skydiving
photography has become my new passion. Nothing compares to
actually jumping, but reliving the experience through video can be a close
second. Being able to strap a camera on your head and capture
one of the most breathtaking activities around is very fulfilling, and it’s
something that I plan to do for a very long time! I hope to
see you at
Orange
so we can share the experience together.
