SKYDIVE
ORANGE RULES AND REGULATIONS We have very few rules at Skydive Orange. We want you to have more fun than you could have at any other skydiving center. Despite the general atmosphere here, we take safety seriously, and insist on following the following rules. It should go without saying that everyone needs to:
These rules are to be followed unconditionally! 1. AAD's Required 2. We all land in the direction of the tetrahedron. Those wishing to practice down wind or cross wind landings will declare their specific intentions to the entire load, open significantly higher than the rest of the load, and land well after all upwind landing jumpers have landed. Just be smart about it....or be grounded! 3.
We no longer land
in the loading area, the small grassy area next to the fuel truck, or in front
of the hangar. Beer rules apply! 4.
Camping is free
when you are jumping and staying for just the weekend.
Tent and vehicle camping beyond the weekends (all extended camping
without electrical hookups) is one-half of the camper rental fee. 5.
We have a NO
TOLERANCE policy for illegal drug and alcohol use while you are jumping.
You must adhere to the eight-hour "bottle to throttle" rule.
If you are even suspected, you will be grounded.
Period! 6.
We do not allow
pets or children in the hangar during business hours.
ANY damage done by your "little ones" will be your
responsibility. Skydive Orange is NOT a child friendly environment.
7.
NO OPEN FOOD OR
DRINKS are allowed on the packing mat in the hangar. 8.
WE ARE A CLUB! That means if YOU don't do it, then it doesn't get done. Wipe the
bathrooms down every time you leave. When
you see a trashcan full, empty it or ask for assistance.
When something needs to be done, ask how you can help in doing it. When you think of a better idea, put it in the suggestion
box. When someone is breaking a
rule, YOU ask him or her to stop! 9. Have fun and be safe!
For those considering staying with us for the long term: 1.
Camper space is
extremely limited. In order to
leave a camper you must get on the list and wait your turn. Campers left without permission will be towed! 2.
We do not allow
abandoned vehicles on the drop zone! Real
estate is rare these days so every parking space counts.
Your account will be charged or your vehicle may be towed or burned if
this is abused.
